Hi I was wondering for those of you that use sekhem for healing work, how does the energy feel when you use it. Is it different or the same to Reiki for instance?

  • Hi Ivan.

The energy of Reiki and Sekhem have vibrational qualities that are the same depending if you are coming from the head or the heart space. What I mean by this Ivan is ownership, you hear people saying things like highest vibrational of energy on the planet at this time, or in order to do this work properly you must stick to doing it this way, protection, Psychic Attack, non of the above are based on love only fear.

When we make the connection to feeling in our bodies again really feeling all that is within us, and owning that space with the love of self, that is All love Sekhem, Reiki, Spirituality.......... no divisions.

    • An enlighting prespective thanks Ricky : )

I recently meet someone from Japan who practices Reiki, and in a completely different way to the west and is very confused by what people call Reiki here "not that there is a problem with that way of practice, variety is the spice of life ", so your perspective is all the more intresting : )

From what I experience as far as the feeling coming out of my hands Seichem wich is primarily Sakara fire energies the Reiki earth energy comes out steady and kind of heavy feeling, the Seichem energy feels like hot low voltage electricity and pins and needles in a way.
  • Hi Ivan,

I see this post is quite old, but for those that are still following it. I just wanted to comment.

Whether it is Sekhem or Reiki, each will be experienced uniquely by each individual. Many Energy systems do have particular programs in which a person is given some expectations and many times this is what is experienced. It is best to just experience the energy first, this Will allow you to not have any outside influences. In this day and age it is almost impossible to not have some sort of predefined description of the energy, however once you define it, it begins the limitation of your experience of the energy. • Dear Alchemist:

I noticed that the post is quite old, but the replies so far did not cover the answer. Reiki Usui and Reiki Sekhem are both types of Reiki. The word "Reiki" rei-ki means universal and human energy together. Usui Reiki is quite basic, this is why Reiki I level is usually a pre-requisite to training in Sekhem, so the knowledge and the versatility operating higher vibrational energies become familiar to the user/practitioner, and the differences and subtelties become apparent.

Reiki and Seichim are quite different in vibrational terms. Imagine a pink lotus flower opening on the leaf on top of the still pond, emanating peace and purity, beauty and love. Now imagine a white lotus flower radiating the brightest light around itself, where the pond and the leaf are now also enveloped by this radiant bright light, coming from the abundant Universe, where the light begins to emanate into the surroundings and brightens the environment higher and deeper around itself. The pwer of thislotus flower is so strong that being near it ia healing and nurturing in by itself. The operator of such energy becomes powerful as our loving and powerful Universe.

Work with this energy and you will find the power of Sekhem will change your life, like it changes the lives of many. To read more about and find more information go to newyorkawareness.com/Sekhem-...ork.asp.
